The Last Day at Disneyland

Today was our last day at Disneyland Anaheim.

Throughout every minute of the last 9 days I have never forgotten the reason of why we are here.
It is not just because of the fact that Amelia is sick.
I also know that the only reason we are here is because of the love and kindness of many, many people.
We would never have been able to come if everyone did not establish and then support the Amelia's Project group.
So from the very, very bottom of my heart and with many tears I thank each and every one of you.

In the last 9 days we have been so very fortunate to have been given the most wonderful, life changing experience.
We have memories that will never change.
We have had smiles, laughs and fun.

I am so very happy and proud that all of you have shared this amazing experience with us.
And even though we are all so very tired and exhausted we have definately had the time of our lives.

Thank you just does not seem enough...........

Today Amelia, Tom and I went back to Disneyland for one last visit.
I sent a text message to Scott "do not know when we will be back. Having too much fun".
And we did.

Here are some photo's from the last 9 days........

One of the many buses driving around Anaheim (a suburb like Langwarrin).

The night that Tom, Stuart and I went to watch the most amazing fireworks display I have ever seen.

An idea of the crowd leaving after the fireworks. VERY BUSY. But look around. Disneyland is gorgeous at night time.

Another bus. Just LOVE the way that every single one is painted.

Tom and I waiting for the "Buzz Lightyear" ride. AND it was so much fun !!!

Our 3D glasses ready to shoot those darts at those targets. (Just for the record I BEAT TOM !!!!).

After 40 minutes waiting, we are finally there.
Tom and I had 2 nights one our own.
We had so much fun going on everything he wanted to !!!!

In California Adventure Park (100 metres from Disneyland) we were waiting for the Wonder of Colour show to begin. We had to line up and wait 1 hour. It was well worth the wait. And we got to look at amazing things like this Ferris Wheel.

And then it began and went for 30 minutes.
They create a picture on the water, like it is a projector screen.
I had tears in my eyes, amazed at how clever people can be.
Oh and Amelia was thrilled that Ariel constantly appears.
And for those who "know" Amelia she was very brave when the fire happens at the end.
Amelia's comment at the end "That was AWESOME!!!!".

and again.

Waiting for the free shuttle bus at our hotel.

Outside our hotel, The Hyatt Regency. Highly recommend it.

And again......

After buying our "Mickey Mouse" ears.

Too cute.....

On the ferry ride at Disneyland.

And Mr Tom...

Halloween is as BIG as Christmas this year (and I am not joking). Approx 3 night a week you have to leave Disneyland by 7pm unless you have a Halloween ticket during October. The people arriving in their costumes are unbelieveable.

As we were leaving for the "last time" the kids HAD to go on a Merry-go-round.

And Mr Tom.....

And this is our shuttle bus area outside Disneyland (about 1/4 of the whole bus area).

You only live once.
A life is not meant to be all about mortgages and working.
Sometimes you need to step outside of the norm.......

Now on to Las Vegas...........
